Lack of Updates

Hmmm well not that much has been happening lately. I'm running bad, but breaking even which i guess is ok. Its really frustrating to have a spell like this... but i guess i normally run good so its to be expected.

As soon as i start to do better i'm going to play some higher stakes, so hopefully the blog will become more interesting then.

Full Tilt is really tilting me at the moment. All the regulars sit out against me at 25/50 and 50/100 HU PLO which is kind of boring, because i give action to anyone. The Americans seem to have the tightest game selection ever....

if running bad is breaking even, you're still good!

I've seen you try and play cole South, Internet Pokers, Sunra and Broin Hastings heads up. They all won't play you. In the end they realise that you will crush them and they are scared babies. they own training sites yet are just fakes. at those stakes if they really think they are good they should play anyone

Cole and Brian are fakes. Have you seen there stats on High Stakes Database? These guys are big losers (2 million between them in 2008) and only keep afloat because of membership payments from clueless fans.

people dont play you for a few reasons 1- you hit and run alot of the time,so there is no value in playing you if you get ahead early.2- if you lose a big pot where you are a fav you end the session quickly ( obv not a bad thing because it stops you tilting more ) but again there is no value in playing you as they unsure how long you will play.

the guy above raises some valid points, switch to pokerstars for a bit, loads of 25-50 running, no hu tables though, im sure you'll get action.

LMAO at the anon comments slating Cole and Brian Hastings, two of the best players on the planet! Downswings happen and at their stakes $2m is relatively nothing.

I'd bet good money they have forgot more than any of the anon commenters in this entry have ever known about poker!

Ben - great tribute to you if they won't play you!

I think that one of the main reasons that you are seeing a decline in online poker activity is because of the economy. There are just so many Americans that have lost their jobs and they are currently struggling to keep their heads above water, so to speak. Gambling just doesn’t seem to be people’s top priority at the moment, but when the economy levels back out then we should see things get back to normal. For those who are able to afford a little gambling, practice on the online poker websites before heading to the high roller tables at the casinos. Poker skills will improve with lots of practice and there is so much opportunity to win big in a game like this so don’t give up.
