Fresh from being annoyed at the mistake I had made the previous night at the Vic I decided it was time to play my first online game of the year. I started of in the Omaha Pot Limit $5/$10 on Pokerstars with $600 and finished about an hour later with $2200 for a nice profit of $1600 which went some way towards compensating for the £700 loss the previous night.
I would say that I am not normally a big bluffer in Omaha. However, the three hands below tell a different story. I enjoyed showing these bluffs to the table. The annoying thing was that I know I would have been paid of very well if I could have stuck around and waited for a monster. I just had to dash of to a party.
I wouldn’t say any of these bluffs were particularly well timed it was more of a case that I had to keep betting if I was going to pick up the pot.

Milky,
I'm not sure if you posted these for comment or not. Feel free to tell me to fuck off. Hand 1 is standard, although I would bet slightly less on the turn to leave a bigger bullet to fire on the river. I don't like either of hand 2 or 3 (I dont think you should even be playing 3 preflop, and I'm pretty loose.) In each case you end up bluffing with virtually no outs in small pots and multiple players, and keep going when you get multiple callers. Moreover, Hamsa is normally very loose and no passer of anything semi-sentient. The problem you may get in this game is that you may find yourself getting snapped off on the turn or worse (albeit not in the examples here) find yourself pot committed with few outs against a shit player who then raises you. And you have to call because you have manufactured the right price to flush your stack away. This should really be the other way round.
Anyway, gl
dd
Comments are good and i always welcome them. I agree with your analysis of hands 2 and 3 as they are utter garbage preflop. I think i was still on tilt from the night before when misreading the game we were playing at the Vic cost me a cool grand. Hamsa a few days ago reraised me to $1000 to put himself all in preflop when i held AATJ and managed to scoop on a T2327 board. He held TTJA. Nasty! Espcecially as i thought the board looked reasonably safe. My preflop play in these games is normally very tight and i normally see about 15-25% of flops.
